Climate change – Current Status, Projections, Adaptation and Mitigation" by Dr Laurent Bopp
Dr Laurent Bopp is Research Director at CNRS at the Laboratory of Dynamic Meteorology (CNRS/École Polytechnique/ENS-PSL/Sorbonne University) and a member of the French Academy of Sciences. A climatologist and oceanographer, he works on the carbon cycle in the ocean, with a particular focus on the evolution of the oceanic carbon sink. He also studies ocean acidification and the impacts of climate change on marine ecosystems. He is the author or co-author of over 200 scientific publications in international journals and served as a lead author for the 5th and 6th Assessment Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
